Calculator: how much you earn and save with Tumbite

A calculator for everyone: the restaurant, the driver, the customer, and whoever wants to open Tumbite in their city.

How it works

On the “Calculator” page you pick who you are and move the numbers. Everything is calculated with the prices Tumbite uses in the app today and with public market data, and the page shows where each number comes from.

Restaurant: enter what you sell per month on delivery apps and see what you keep with Tumbite, DoorDash, and Uber Eats on the equivalent plan. With your city’s size, how many restaurants are on Tumbite, and the share of the market we reach, you also see how many monthly orders we can bring you.

Driver: choose hours per day, days per week, deliveries per hour, your average tip, and distance, and see what you earn per delivery, per day, per week, and per month. Tumbite pays the same in every city; what changes is how many orders there are per hour.

Customer: with how many orders you place per month and how much you spend on food, see how much you save on the service fee versus the 15% DoorDash publishes in several cities.

Franchise: with the city’s population, restaurants, and market share, see how many people order on apps, how many orders Tumbite would have, what restaurants and drivers receive, how many drivers are needed, and what the platform keeps.

Tumbite calculator for restaurants: with $10,000 in monthly sales, the restaurant keeps $9,250 with Tumbite, $8,500 with DoorDash Basic, and $8,000 with Uber Eats Lite, plus the orders Tumbite can bring based on its city.
Restaurant: what you keep on each app and how many orders we can bring you.
Tumbite calculator for franchises: in a city of 100,000 people with 100 restaurants and a 5% market share, the monthly orders, what restaurants and drivers receive, the drivers needed, and what the platform keeps.
Franchise: the size of the business in your city, with the assumptions in plain view.

Steps

  1. Go to tumbite.com and tap “Calculator” in the top menu.
  2. Pick your tab: Restaurant, Driver, Customer, or Franchise.
  3. Replace the numbers with yours. What you type is saved in your browser.
  4. To share a tab, copy the address: it carries the tab at the end.

These are projections, not promises: they depend on how many people order in each city and how Tumbite grows there. The franchisee’s share is set in their contract.
