How we look after every order

Verified restaurants and drivers

Every restaurant is a real business and every driver is who they say they are. A person on our team checks it.

How it works

Before selling on Tumbite, each restaurant owner shows an ID, a photo of their face, and a photo of the storefront taken on site, which we match with the registered address. That keeps out fake businesses and places that have moved.

Before delivering, each driver shows an ID and a photo of their face. They also register their vehicle, license, and insurance, and the system flags anything about to expire.

The photos are reviewed by a person on our team, not a machine. They’re never published, never used for anything else, and they’re deleted when the person closes their account.

“Owner and storefront verification” section in the Tumbite restaurant dashboard, with the ID, the face photo, and the storefront.
Restaurants verify the owner and the location with photos taken from a phone.
“Verify your identity” screen in the Tumbite driver app, with the ID and the face photo.
Drivers verify their identity with their ID and a photo of their face.

If you’re a restaurant or a driver, see the guides “Verify your restaurant” and “Verify your identity”: four and three photos from your phone.
